TD Bank Group has donated $300,000 to the Windsor-Essex Children’s Aid Foundation for a program aimed at helping youth with finances and other concerns while they finish school or look for work.

“This significant and generous commitment by TD is an investment in the future of many of our youth,” said Derrick Drouillard, executive director of the Windsor-Essex Children’s Aid Society. “The Bridge of Hope Program will eliminate barriers, and offer the tools and resources to youth to chart the course for personal and career success.”

Bridge of Hope provides supports to help young people finish secondary school, pursue post-secondary education, enter a trade or secure employment, establish a mentoring relationship, achieve financial goals, and find safe and affordable housing. The three-year program includes financial, social, and mental health supports.
