- “I liked everything about my camp box. Me, my dad and my sister went to the park to fly the kite. It was so much fun. I hope we will do more things together.” ~ Kyle, age 6
- “With Covid, I thought summer was going to be really boring. The Children’s Aid worker brought over this box of stuff. I had something to do almost every day of July!” ~ Sarah, age 8
- “Being a mom has been a struggle over the last number of months. I want to do so much more for my kids, but I just don’t have the means. You can’t imagine how overwhelmed I was when “Summer Camp In a Box” was delivered to our door. The activities and things to do together were so well thought out. This was a summer to remember, in a good way.” ~ Molly, a parent receiving services via Windsor-Essex Children’s Aid Society
We would like to extend a big THANK YOU to the Inspiration 100™ Association and the Inspiration 100™ Endowment Fund held at the WindsorEssex Community Foundation. With the support of $5,000 many children, youth and families were able to add a little extra sunshine to their summer with our “Summer Camp in a Box” program.
