Community champions, John & Sophia Chisholm announced the establishment of the John & Sophia Chisholm Embracing Family Fund.

Through a generous gift from John & Sophia Chisholm, the John & Sophia Chisholm Embracing Family Fund will be established to support families in need and provide them with some hope and comfort as they rise up to the challenges they face. Funding will be directed to activities that are either not funded by the Province of Ontario or are inadequately funded to meet the needs of vulnerable families. This may include clothing, personal items, recreational and sport activities for children and more. As indicated by John Chisholm, past owner and president of Rose City Ford, “Sophie and I realize the strength, and comfort that comes from being part of a strong family. We wanted to do something that would help to make a difference for the families in our community who struggle.” According to Derrick Drouillard, Executive Director of WECAS, “John & Sophie are leading the way in terms of supporting the needs, interests and aspirations of the children and families that WECAS serves. We are extremely grateful.”
