Scholarships have been created at local post-secondary institutions (St Clair College & University of Windsor) to provide assistance to a past Crown-ward who is continuing their education. This program is a new program and one that provides a great opportunity to children-in-care for pursuing their education.

Each summer, children-in-care and community children that WECAS is working with are able to attend summer camp. In 2006, almost 400 children were given the camping opportunity at either day or overnight camps. The ages of these children were 3-16 years. Including transportation, the total cost of sending kids to camp is over $100,000.

The Holiday Program assists approximately 800 families with about 1,600 children by pairing over 220 sponsors with those in need. The number of families and sponsors continues to grow each year. In 2004, over $417,000 in gifts and $28,000 in cash donations supported this program.
